4. Prostate Cancer:
   • Occurs in the prostate, a small gland that produces seminal fluid in men. It is a common cancer in older men.
5. Ovarian Cancer:
   • Forms in the ovaries, the female reproductive organs. It is often diagnosed at an advanced stage.
6. Pancreatic Cancer:
   • Develops in the pancreas, an organ that produces digestive enzymes and insulin. It is often detected at an advanced stage, making it challenging to treat.
7. Leukemia:
   • A cancer of the blood or bone marrow, characterized by the overproduction of abnormal white blood cells. There are different types of leukemia.
8. Lymphoma:
   • Affecting the lymphatic system, lymphomas are cancers of the lymphocytes (white blood cells). Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma are the two main types.
9. Melanoma:
   • Arises in the pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) of the skin. It is a type of skin cancer that can spread to other parts of the body.
10. Bladder Cancer:
    • Develops in the cells lining the bladder. It is more common in older adults.
11. Kidney Cancer:
    • Forms in the kidneys, the organs that filter blood and remove waste. Renal cell carcinoma is the most common type.
12. Liver Cancer:
    • Primarily hepatocellular carcinoma, develops in the liver cells. It is often associated with chronic liver diseases.
13. Thyroid Cancer:
    • Occurs in the cells of the thyroid gland, which produces hormones that regulate metabolism.
14. Cervical Cancer:
    • Affects the cervix, the lower part of the uterus. It is largely preventable through screening and vaccination.
15. Brain and Central Nervous System Cancers:
    • Can occur in various parts of the brain and spinal cord. Glioblastoma multiforme is a particularly aggressive type.

These are just a few examples, and there are many more types of cancer, each with its unique characteristics and treatment approaches. The development, progression, and treatment of cancer are areas of active research, and advancements are continually being made in understanding and managing the disease. Early detection, lifestyle modifications, and advances in treatment modalities contribute to improved outcomes for many individuals diagnosed with cancer.
